The audio is available below. Here is a summary of our sermon on Sunday November 25th, 2018.
The Lord loves to hear from us, even if its only when things are rough.
But he delights in us simply sharing our hearts with him, being truly ourselves, our un-guarded, un-varnished, un-managed selves.
If I had one thing to ask us all to pray for as we enter this Advent Season it would be this:
Lord Jesus, make my desires your desires. Cause me to find joy in what causes you to find joy. Break my heart over what breaks your heart. Move me into a deeper walk with you in the weeks to come.
Because Christ is King of all Creation, we get to live our lives confident that even when all appears to be lost, His salvation, justice and righteousness on our behalf will stand the test of time.
Sunday December 2 is there start of a new church year and the Advent Season; four weeks anticipating the fulfillment of the God's Promises in Jesus. This is a special season of preparation. We have a great opportunity to re-start some key spiritual disciples as we start a new liturgical year. Please consider joining us as we journey through a set of practices designed to enable us us to more deeply experience the presence of Jesus and witness lovingly to others. Download this document and join in (even if you start late). If you have questions feel free to contact us or join on Sunday morning or Tuesday evening.
